Chiropractor

Rizaldy Ortiz D.C.

Dr. Ortiz is the founder of Atlas Disc & Spine clinic and has been practicing in Alaska since 2014. He is originally from a small town in the Philippines and came to the United States for higher education. He completed his undergraduate studies at California State Polytechnic University before receiving his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Southern California University of Health Sciences.

Being an Upper Cervical Chiropractor and a Cox Technique Certified practitioner, he experienced great success with conditions such as headaches, migraines, vertigo, dizziness, whiplash injury, numbness and tingling in shoulders, arms, hands, lower back pain, and sciatica.

FAMILY AND PERSONAL INTERESTS:

Aside from chiropractic, his passion for helping others remains his top priority. Combining his education in science and his experience in reaching out to the community, he chose chiropractic as the best way to express both.
Dr. Ortiz loves living in Alaska. His wife Anne is an accountant and works with the State of Alaska. His son Zakary, who was born and raised in Anchorage is currently in first grade. When he is not working, he enjoys fishing, hiking, camping, and spending time with his family.

Chiropractor

Tangiilima Ripley D.C.

Dr. Ripley has been practicing in Anchorage, Alaska since April 2024. She is originally from the village of Leone and Vailoa in American Samoa, she pursued her education in the United States, starting at Rio Hondo Community College and later earning a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from the University of Hawaii, Hilo.

After college, she moved to Anchorage, Alaska, where she worked as a Chiropractic Assistant as well as experiencing great results with chiropractic care from dealing with headaches, back pain with tingling symptoms, knee pain, and bad posture.

It was during this time that she was inspired to pursue a career in chiropractic, leading her to attend Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. Dr. Ripley’s passion for chiropractic care stems from her desire to help others and the profound impact she has witnessed in patients’ lives.

Outside of her professional life, Dr. Ripley is deeply involved in her faith and community service. She enjoys singing, watching sports, traveling, fishing, camping, and spending time with her family, friends, and dog. She is also passionate about sports, particularly rugby and basketball, and believes in the importance of chiropractic care for athletes. Dr. Ripley is dedicated to giving back to her community and making a positive difference in the lives of others.
